This week I’m linking up with the Blogger Tribe for their weekly Sunday Lately linkup. This week’s prompts are: Updating, Remembering, Needing, Wearing, and Being.
This week I am going to be updating the blog design as well as adding to some aspects as I continue exploring the wonderful world of blogging. My adventures in blogging land have resulted so far in finding some really inspiring blogs as well as some super talented writers. One of these days I’ll get around to sharing with you a list of some of my favorite blogs!
As I look around our beautiful home, I’m remembering where Hubby and I started and how far we’ve come since then. Our three-bedroom house with a two bay garage is a far cry from the one-room apartment (one ROOM, not one bedroom) we started out in. When we first moved in a little over a year and a half ago I had no idea how I was going to get everything unpacked an organized but slowly and surely I’ve finally gotten there!
I’m needing to find a schedule that works and find a balance between work and play. My workout routine has become “workout when I feel like it” and cleaning has become “see how much I can get done in one day.” I need to get back into a routine with working out and find a cleaning schedule that works.
Temperatures are getting warmer here in Pennsylvania and spring is definitely in the air! Warmer weather means I get to start wearing my spring/summer clothes and FLIP FLOPS! While I love wearing my turtle necks and sweaters, I am not a fan of the cold AT ALL.
I am being as patient as I can as I await a busy but fun-filled summer. This summer will hopefully bring some home improvement projects and other odds and ends but the most exciting part is getting to spend some time with friends that I don’t see very often. This summer is also the first time I am able to plant my own garden and will be personalizing our flower bed a bit more. I can’t wait to get my hands in the soil and get to planting.
Its going to be a busy week here at the Glitter & Grease house as we get ready for some company and a fairly busy week/weekend but I’m ready for it!
